Viewpoints in Kolkata

Vidyasagar Setu is a striking cable-stayed bridge connecting Kolkata and Howrah. The longest cable-stayed bridge in India at 823 meters, its modern design contrasts dramatically with nearby Howrah Bridge.

The Ochterlony Monument, now renamed Shahid Minar, is a 48-metre fluted column rising from the northern edge of the Maidan. It is one of Kolkata's most recognisable landmarks.
