Pattaya Beach is the city's emblematic 4-kilometre crescent of sand stretching along Beach Road from the Dusit headland in the north to Bali Hai Pier in the south. Palm-lined and fronted by a pedestrian promenade, it is the centre of Pattaya's waterfront life — jet-ski operators, banana-boat rides, and massage vendors line the shore.

Jomtien Beach is a 6-kilometre stretch of sand running south from Phra Tamnak Hill. Quieter and more family-oriented than Pattaya Beach, it is a popular spot for kitesurfers, windsurfers, and long-stay visitors who prefer a more relaxed pace.
Koh Larn (Coral Island) lies 7 km off Pattaya's coast in the Gulf of Thailand. The island's six beaches — Tawaen, Samae, Tien, Nual, Ta Yai, and Laem Tong — offer crystal-clear water and white sand that is markedly cleaner than mainland Pattaya.
