Viewpoints in Cancún

The Torre Escénica is a 110-metre rotating observation tower in the Embarcadero area of the Hotel Zone, offering 360-degree aerial views of the Caribbean Sea, Laguna Nichupté, and the hotel strip from a slowly revolving cabin.

The dramatic southern tip of Isla Mujeres features a oceanfront sculpture garden, a Maya temple dedicated to the fertility goddess Ixchel, and cliffside walkways overlooking the point where the Caribbean meets the open Gulf of Mexico.

A series of informal lookout points along Boulevard Kukulcán where the road hugs the western shore of the Hotel Zone, offering unobstructed views over the 3,000-hectare Laguna Nichupté. Sunsets from here are famously vivid.
