Torre Escénica

Overview

The Torre Escénica is a 110-metre rotating observation tower in the Embarcadero area of the Hotel Zone, offering 360-degree aerial views of the Caribbean Sea, Laguna Nichupté, and the hotel strip from a slowly revolving cabin.

History

Built in the early 2000s by Mexican entertainment company Ventura Park, the tower was modeled after similar ride-observation hybrids found in international theme parks. It remains the tallest observation point in Cancún.

• Short ride: The full experience lasts about 15 minutes — plan it as a quick stop, not a main activity.
• Best at sunset: Golden-hour light dramatically improves photos from the top.
