Markets in Goa (Panaji)

The Mapusa Friday Market is a traditional weekly market about 13 km north of Panaji. Unlike tourist-oriented markets, this is a genuine local affair where villagers sell fresh fish, produce, spices, and Goan sausages (chourico).

The Saturday Night Market (Mackie's Night Bazaar) is a lively open-air market every Saturday evening during tourist season (November–April). Combining shopping, international street food, and live entertainment, it is one of Goa's most popular evening outings.
