The West Bund is a 10-kilometer riverside cultural corridor on the former site of the Shanghai Cement Factory and Longhua Airport. It has become China's most ambitious contemporary art district, housing branches of major international and domestic institutions.

M50, officially named 50 Moganshan Road, is Shanghai's foremost contemporary art district. Set inside former cotton mills and textile factories along Suzhou Creek, it houses more than 130 studios, galleries, and creative businesses.

Taikang Road Art Street runs through the Tianzifang area and extends into the surrounding blocks with a string of galleries, design studios, and creative retail spaces. It represents the spillover of Tianzifang's artistic energy into the wider neighborhood.
