Viewpoints in Perth

The State War Memorial in Kings Park is Western Australia's principal memorial to citizens who served in war. Set on the escarpment edge of Kings Park, it offers one of Perth's most commanding panoramic views across the Swan River, CBD, and Darling Scarp.

The South Perth Foreshore is a grassy riverside promenade directly across the Swan River from the CBD, offering what is arguably Perth's most iconic skyline photograph. A regular ferry service connects it to Elizabeth Quay, making it a quick and scenic escape.

The Bell Tower is a landmark copper-and-glass spire rising 82.5 metres on Perth's Barrack Square waterfront. It houses the Swan Bells, a set of 18 bells that includes twelve medieval bells from the Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, London — a gift to Australia for its bicentenary in 1988.
