Lake Eola Park Fountain

Overview

The Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain at Lake Eola is Orlando's most recognizable downtown landmark. The illuminated fountain, surrounded by a 0.9-mile walking path, serves as the symbolic heart of the city.

History

Lake Eola's fountain was donated by Linton Allen in 1957. It was modeled after the Fountain of Wealth in Tokyo's Wadakura Fountain Park. A major restoration in 2011 modernized the LED lighting system.
