Dickson Azalea Park is a hidden urban oasis tucked between downtown Orlando and the Thornton Park neighborhood. Dense subtropical vegetation, a meandering stream, and footbridges create a tranquil escape just blocks from the city center.
The park was established in the early 20th century and named for early Orlando settlers. It has been maintained as a naturalistic urban retreat, resisting formal landscaping in favor of wild subtropical character.
