The General Jackson is a 300-foot paddlewheel riverboat that cruises the Cumberland River with live music, Southern buffet dining, and skyline views. Named after Andrew Jackson's steamboat, it's one of the largest showboats in the country.
Built in 1985 by Jeffboat in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the General Jackson was commissioned by the Opryland Hotel. At 300 feet and four decks, it was the largest showboat on any inland waterway at launch.
