City Park is Denver's largest urban park at 330 acres, offering sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains across its expansive greens, two lakes, and mature tree groves. It is home to the Denver Zoo and the Museum of Nature & Science.
Designated in 1882, City Park was developed following the vision of landscape architect Reinhard Schuetze. Its design was influenced by the City Beautiful movement, with formal gardens, promenades, and monumental architecture.
