The Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas is one of the largest university art museums in the United States, housing a permanent collection of over 21,000 works spanning antiquity to the present.

History
Founded in 1963, the museum moved into its current purpose-built facility on the UT campus in 2006. The Ellsworth Kelly building, conceived in 1986 but only built posthumously, opened in 2018.
