ACL Live at The Moody Theater is a 2,750-capacity concert venue in the 2nd Street District. It serves as the taping venue for PBS's "Austin City Limits," the longest-running music series in American television history.
Opened in 2011, the venue was purpose-built to host the "Austin City Limits" TV show, which began in 1976 at UT's Studio 6A. The move to this larger space allowed the show and live concerts to coexist under one roof.
