The Gyochon Hanok Craft Centre is a hands-on cultural workshop in the restored Gyochon Traditional Village, offering visitors the chance to try traditional Korean handicrafts in an authentic hanok setting. Activities range from celadon pottery painting to calligraphy, hanji (paper craft), and traditional tea preparation.
The centre was established as part of Gyeongju's Cultural Heritage Tourism initiative in the 2010s, converting restored hanok buildings into workshop spaces. It is operated in partnership with local artisan cooperatives to preserve and transmit traditional craft knowledge.
