Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is a 62-hectare heartland park in central Singapore, redesigned in 2012 to replace its concrete canal with a naturalised, meandering river — an award-winning example of Singapore's ABC (Active, Beautiful, Clean) Waters design programme.
Originally developed in the 1980s with a straight concrete drainage canal, the park underwent a radical transformation in 2009–2012 by Atelier Dreiseitl and Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl. The naturalised river increased biodiversity by 30% and earned multiple international design awards.
