Ala-Archa Waterfall Hike

Overview

A well-marked trail in Ala-Archa National Park leading to a glacial waterfall at the foot of the Tian Shan peaks — one of the most accessible alpine hikes from Bishkek.

History

Ala-Archa became a national park in 1976; the waterfall trail has been maintained since Soviet mountaineering camps were established here.
