Da Nang Cathedral (known locally as Con Ga Church for the rooster weathervane on its spire) is a charming pink-hued Gothic church built during French colonial rule. It is the only Western-style church in Da Nang.
Completed in 1923 by French priest Louis Vallet, the cathedral served the French colonial community. It was designed by architect Morin in Gothic Revival style and remains an active parish.
