The Museum of Railway Techniques is an open-air museum near Tashkent's main railway station, displaying a fascinating collection of Soviet-era locomotives, armored trains, and vintage rolling stock.

History

Established in 1999, the museum celebrates Tashkent's role as a crucial railway hub on the Trans-Caspian Railway, which connected Central Asia to Russia from 1888. The collection was assembled from decommissioned trains across the Uzbek railway network.
