The Ankhor Canal Promenade is a recently revitalized waterside walkway running through central Tashkent, offering a green corridor for walking and cycling past parks, cafés, and the Minor Mosque.
The Ankhor Canal is a centuries-old irrigation channel that originally supplied water from the Chirchik River to Tashkent's gardens and fields. It fell into neglect during the Soviet era, becoming an open drain. Major revitalization beginning around 2018 transformed it into an attractive urban promenade.
