Toqi-Telpak Furushon ('Dome of the Hat-Sellers') was historically where Bukhara's famed fur hats and skull caps were sold. Today it houses carpet dealers and souvenir sellers under its distinctive 16th-century vaulted dome.
Built in the 16th century as part of the commercial infrastructure serving Bukhara's Silk Road trade. The hat trade was significant — Bukhara's distinctive fur-lined hats (telpak) were prized across Central Asia. The dome was restored and reopened to commerce in the 1990s.
