History

Ruifeng Night Market began informally in the early 1990s in the residential streets west of Kaohsiung Arena. It expanded rapidly after the MRT Red Line opened, making it easily accessible. Unlike government-managed markets, Ruifeng remains self-organised by the vendors' association.
