Kaohsiung Harbor Cruise offers a waterborne tour of one of Asia's busiest container ports, passing the 85 Sky Tower, Cijin Island, the Kaohsiung Music Center, and massive container gantries. It provides a unique perspective on the city's industrial maritime heritage from the water.
Kaohsiung has been a major port since the Japanese colonial era and is today Taiwan's largest cargo harbour. Tourism cruises began in the 1990s and expanded after the harbour reopened sections to leisure visitors during the 2010s waterfront redevelopment.
