Overview
Thalang National Museum is a small national museum opposite the Heroine's Monument, covering the history of Phuket and the Andaman coast from prehistoric times to the modern era, with particular focus on the 1785 Thalang defence against Burmese invasion.

History
The museum was established in 1985, the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Thalang. It was relocated to its current purpose-built facility in 1994.

- Closed Mon/Tue: Plan visits for Wednesday through Sunday.
- Combine: Walk across the road to the Heroine's Monument and nearby Wat Phra Thong.
