Overview
Laem Singh Beach is a petite, postcard-perfect cove wedged between two granite headlands, located between Surin and Kamala beaches on Phuket's west coast. Access is by kayak from Surin or by a steep footpath, giving it a secluded, exclusive feel.
Highlights
- Turquoise Cove: Crystal-clear water sheltered by rocky outcrops — some of the best casual snorkelling on Phuket.
- Dramatic Setting: Granite boulders, coconut palms, and dense jungle frame the 200-metre beach.
- Low Crowds: The limited access keeps visitor numbers naturally low.
History
The beach was previously accessible via a private resort path that was closed in 2017. Since then, access has been via a steep trail from the road or by water, maintaining its uncrowded character.
Visitor Tips
- Access: Kayak from Surin Beach (10 minutes) or descend the steep pathway from the main road — wear sturdy sandals.
- Bring water & snacks: No permanent vendors on the beach.
- Duration: 1.5–2 hours.
