Gradowa Hill (Góra Gradowa) is a fortified hilltop offering one of the best panoramic views of Gdańsk's Main Town. The 19th-century Napoleonic-era fortification crowns the hill, and its elevation provides a sweeping vista over the church spires, townhouse gables, and the Motława waterfront.
The hill has served as a defensive position since medieval times. The current fortifications were built during the Napoleonic Wars and later expanded by the Prussians in the 1850s.
