Divisoria is Manila's largest and most chaotic wholesale market district, a bargain hunter's paradise in the Tondo neighborhood. Spanning multiple blocks and spilling into surrounding streets, it sells everything from textiles and kitchenware to dried goods and party supplies at rock-bottom prices.
Divisoria takes its name from the Spanish word for divide — it was historically the boundary between the Chinese and indigenous Filipino communities. The market has been a commercial hub since the Spanish colonial period and has survived fires, floods, and development pressures.
