AJ Hackett Ledge Bungy

Overview

The Ledge Bungy is an urban bungy experience located at the top of the Skyline Gondola on Bob's Peak, 400 metres above Queenstown. Unlike traditional bridge bungys, jumpers leap freestyle from a cantilevered platform over the town.

History

Opened by AJ Hackett in 1997 as a more accessible alternative to the Kawarau Bridge, the Ledge was designed to bring bungy directly to Queenstown's doorstep. The 47-metre jump is considered less intimidating than other bungy sites.
