History
Junction City was developed on the former site of the Sofaer & Co. building, one of Yangon's most prominent colonial-era commercial properties. The development preserved the historic Sofaer facade while building the modern mall behind it. It opened in 2017 and represents the city's push toward modern retail infrastructure.
