The Jardins Saint-Martin are peaceful public gardens along the southern cliff of Le Rocher. Established in the 19th century, they offer shaded walkways through Mediterranean vegetation with dramatic views of the sea far below.
The gardens were created in the 1830s and named after the nearby Church of Saint Martin. They were among the first public green spaces in Monaco, providing locals and visitors with accessible coastal scenery. The gardens connect the Oceanographic Museum to the old town.
