Fontvieille Park is a large green space built on reclaimed land in the Fontvieille district. It features a lake, walking paths, a children's playground, and proximity to several museums and the Princess Grace Rose Garden.
Fontvieille Park was created in the 1980s as part of the massive Fontvieille land reclamation project that added 35 hectares to Monaco. The district was built on land reclaimed from the sea, and the park was designed to give the new quarter a green heart.
