Overview
The Municipal Park (Parc de la Ville de Luxembourg) is the city's largest urban green space, spanning 20 hectares of English-style landscaping, meandering paths, mature oaks, and seasonal flower displays just south of the city centre.

History
Laid out on former fortification glacis land in 1871, the park was designed by Edouard Andre, the French landscape architect also responsible for parks in Montevideo and Liverpool.
