Angkor Night Market

Overview

The Angkor Night Market was Siem Reap's first night market, opening in 2007 and setting the template for the dozens of evening markets that followed. Set under thatched-roof pavilions, it offers handmade crafts, silk products, artwork, and a lively food court with Cambodian and international street food.

History

Established in 2007 as part of Siem Reap's push to develop evening tourism beyond the temples, the Angkor Night Market was the city's first purpose-built night market. Its success spawned numerous imitators along the surrounding streets.
