Overview

Elefantastic is an elephant sanctuary near Amber Fort that offers ethical, hands-on experiences with rescued elephants. Visitors can feed, bathe, and paint the elephants, and learn about their care from mahouts (elephant keepers) who have worked with them for generations.

History

Founded by Rahul, a third-generation mahout whose family has cared for elephants for over 100 years, Elefantastic was established to provide a retirement home for working elephants. It offers an ethical alternative to the Amber Fort elephant-ride industry.
