Mahatma Gandhi Road (MG Road) is one of Bengaluru's most iconic streets, a tree-lined arterial connecting Trinity Circle to Anil Kumble Circle. Flanked by heritage buildings, modern offices, and retail, it represents the city's transition from colonial cantonment to tech capital.
Originally part of the British cantonment area, MG Road was developed in the 19th century as the main commercial spine connecting the military zone to the old city. It was renamed after Mahatma Gandhi following independence.
