Albergue SCM (Albergue da Santa Casa da Misericórdia) is a restored 18th-century Portuguese charitable institution turned creative arts centre. Its whitewashed buildings surround a tranquil courtyard, housing art galleries, workshops, and a small Macanese restaurant.
The building was established in the 18th century as a shelter for the poor by the Holy House of Mercy (Santa Casa da Misericórdia), Macau's oldest charitable institution. It was restored and repurposed as a cultural centre in 2009, preserving original architectural elements including stone walls and timber ceilings.
