Huanhuaxi Park stretches along the Huanhua Stream where poet Du Fu once washed his flower writing brushes. This 32-hectare riverside park links the Du Fu Thatched Cottage to the Sichuan Museum through lush bamboo groves and shaded paths.
The park takes its name from the Huanhua Stream mentioned in Du Fu's poems. It was developed in the 1980s as a green corridor connecting several cultural sites along the western bank of the Jin River.
