Overview

Chengdu IFS (International Finance Square) is a luxury retail complex crowned by a giant panda sculpture climbing the building's exterior. The 101-meter-high I AM THE PANDA art installation has become one of Chengdu's most photographed modern landmarks.

History

Opened in 2014 by Wharf Holdings, the complex was designed by Benoy architects. The panda sculpture, titled I AM THE PANDA, was installed to celebrate Chengdu's association with the beloved animal and has since become a city icon.
