Overview
UCCA Center for Contemporary Art is China's leading contemporary art institution, housed in a dramatically renovated former factory hall within the 798 Art District. It consistently mounts exhibitions of international caliber featuring both Chinese and global artists.
Highlights

- Major Shows: Past exhibitions have featured Picasso, William Kentridge, and major survey shows of contemporary Chinese art.
- UCCA Lab: A dedicated space for experimental and emerging artists pushing boundaries.
History
Founded in 2007 by Belgian collector Guy Ullens, it was restructured as a non-profit in 2017 under the directorship of Philip Tinari. A major renovation by OMA/Rem Koolhaas transformed the entrance and public spaces in 2019.
