Ribersborg Beach (locally called "Ribban") is Malmö's most popular sandy beach, stretching about 3 km along the Øresund coast west of the city center. It offers views of the Øresund Bridge and Denmark on clear days.
Ribersborg Beach has been Malmö's primary bathing area since the 19th century. The Kallbadhus bathhouse was built at the end of a pier here in 1898. In the 2000s the beach was widened and improved as part of the city's waterfront renewal.
