Pildammsparken is Malmö's largest park, laid out for the 1914 Baltic Exhibition. Its 17 hectares include a rose garden, a tallskog (old-growth pine forest), a large ornamental lake, and the open-air Margaret Pavilion.
The park was created for the 1914 Baltic Exhibition, a major international fair that showcased industrial progress. The lake and pavilion were built for the event. After the exhibition, the grounds were converted to a permanent public park.
