The Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti occupies the upper floors of the Palazzo della Ragione, Verona's medieval civic courthouse. It houses a collection of 19th- and 20th-century Italian art, from Romanticism through Futurism and beyond.
The Palazzo della Ragione was built in 1193 as the city's courthouse and market. The gallery was established in 1898 when collector Achille Forti donated his art collection to the city. After extensive restoration, it reopened in 2014 with modern display facilities.
