Metelkova Mesto Club

Overview

Metelkova Mesto Club encompasses several underground live-music venues within the Metelkova City squat complex. On Thursday through Saturday nights, different rooms host punk, electronic, reggae, experimental, and world music acts.

History

When squatters took over the former Austro-Hungarian military barracks in 1993, music venues emerged organically. Today the clubs are established fixtures of Ljubljana's nightlife, known across Europe for their programming.
