⚠️ NOTE: The Pylon Lookout is currently closed for significant renovations and is expected to reopen in 2026.
The Pylon Lookout occupies the southeastern pylon of Sydney Harbour Bridge, reached by climbing 200 steps inside the granite-clad tower. At the top, an open-air platform offers harbour views, while the three levels below house a small museum on the bridge's construction.
The four granite pylons were designed by John Bradfield for aesthetic rather than structural purposes. The southeastern pylon was converted into a lookout and museum in 1982.
