King Baudouin Stadium (formerly Heysel Stadium) is Belgium's national sports venue, seating 50,093. It hosts Belgian Red Devils football matches, the annual Memorial Van Damme athletics meeting, and major concerts.
Built in 1930 for the centenary of Belgian independence. Tragically, the 1985 Heysel Stadium disaster during a European Cup final killed 39 people. The stadium was rebuilt and renamed in honour of King Baudouin in 1995.
