Overview
Rainbow Bridge is a striking 798-meter suspension bridge spanning Tokyo Bay, connecting Shibaura and the Odaiba waterfront. Its graceful curved shape and nighttime illumination have made it an iconic element of the Tokyo skyline.

History
Completed in 1993 as part of the ambitious Odaiba waterfront development project. The name "Rainbow Bridge" was chosen by public vote, and it quickly became one of Tokyo's most photographed landmarks.
Visitor Tips
- Walking: The free pedestrian promenade is open 9 AM–9 PM (April–October) and 10 AM–6 PM (November–March). Allow 30 minutes for the crossing.
- Yurikamome Line: The automated monorail crosses the bridge, offering effortless views from inside the train.
- Duration: 30–45 minutes.
