King Power MahaNakhon is Thailand's tallest building (314 m), and its rooftop SkyBar offers vertiginous views with craft cocktails. The Sky Tray — a retractable glass floor — extends visitors over the edge for a stomach-dropping perspective straight down to the streets below.

Baiyoke Tower II was Bangkok's tallest building from 1997 to 2016 and remains an iconic part of the skyline. The 88th-floor revolving observation deck offers 360-degree views over the Pratunam garment district and beyond.

The Asiatique Sky is a 60-metre Ferris wheel at Asiatique The Riverfront, a large open-air mall and night market on the Chao Phraya River. The wheel offers beautiful views of the illuminated riverside and Rama IX Bridge.

Climbing the steep central prang of Wat Arun — the Temple of Dawn — is a vertigo-inducing reward. The narrow staircase ascends through levels of Chinese porcelain-encrusted stone to a platform offering river-level views across the Chao Phraya to the Grand Palace.
