Shopping in Lima

The Gamarra commercial district in La Victoria is the largest textile and garment market in Latin America, spanning over 20 blocks of shops, workshops, and wholesale outlets.

Jirón de la Unión is Lima's most historic commercial street, a pedestrianized boulevard connecting Plaza Mayor to Plaza San Martín through the heart of the colonial center. Once the most fashionable address in South America, it retains many of its belle-époque buildings.

Jockey Plaza is Lima's premier upscale shopping mall, built beside the Monterrico Hippodrome. It houses international luxury brands, a large cinema complex, and diverse dining.

Avenida La Paz in Miraflores is Lima's premier antiques row, with dozens of shops offering colonial-era furniture, vintage silverwork, pre-Columbian replicas, antique maps, and curiosities spanning four centuries of Peruvian history.
