Museums in Siem Reap

The Angkor National Museum is a modern, air-conditioned museum in Siem Reap dedicated to preserving and interpreting the Khmer civilisation and the Angkor archaeological complex. Spread across eight galleries, it houses over 1,000 original artefacts including sandstone sculptures, bronze figures, and ceramics.

The Cambodia Landmine Museum is a small but deeply moving museum and relief centre dedicated to documenting Cambodia's landmine crisis. Founded by Aki Ra, a former child soldier who has personally defused thousands of mines, the museum educates visitors on the ongoing impact of unexploded ordnance across the country.
