Museums in Bengaluru

The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium is a popular science education center under the Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE). Its distinctive dome houses a sky theatre projecting shows about stars, planets, and the cosmos.

The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum is a popular interactive science and technology museum in Cubbon Park, named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya, India's celebrated engineer and Bharat Ratna awardee. It is operated by the National Council of Science Museums.

The Government Museum of Bengaluru, established in 1865, is one of India's oldest museums. Located in Cubbon Park, it houses notable collections spanning archaeology, geology, art, and numismatics across a stately colonial building.
