3 neighborhoods selected in this guide.

Ladadika is Thessaloniki's most vibrant nightlife and dining district, a cluster of restored 19th-century warehouses and oil merchants' shops transformed into bars, restaurants, and clubs. By day it's a photogenic neighborhood; by night it pulses with energy.

Tsinari is a lesser-known neighborhood in the upper reaches of Ano Poli, named after a historic plane tree (çınar in Turkish) that once stood at its center. This quiet residential quarter retains authentic Ottoman-era ambiance without the tourist traffic of lower Ano Poli.

Ano Poli ("Upper Town") is the atmospheric old quarter that survived the great fire of 1917, preserving a labyrinth of Ottoman-era timber houses, Byzantine churches, and winding cobblestone streets perched above the modern city. It offers a glimpse of what pre-fire Thessaloniki looked like.
